Employment

  • Of 142 consumers who received employment services, 105 consumers secured competitive employment. Of the 105 consumers, 78% (82) secured jobs that are considered "competitive employment" positions, and ​of those, 55 consumers maintained their employment for 90 days or more for a job retention rate of 67%.

  • 10 consumers were employed and 8 of those consumers maintained employment for at least 90 days in the Cooperative Employment Program. 
  • 59 consumers (12 existing consumers transferred from DOR Coop) received employment services and of these 34 consumers secured competitive employment. 
  • Of the 34 consumers who secured employment, 7 consumers were employed for 90 or more days during the reporting period and of those 100% (7) consumers maintained their employment for at least 90 days.

cALBHB/C supports the work of california's 59 local mental/ behavioral health boards and commissions by providing resources, training, and opportunities for communication and statewide advocacy.

Local boards are responsible for reviewing community mental health needs, services, facilities and special problems, and serve in an advisory capacity to local governing bodies and local mental/behavioral health directors per CA Welfare and Institutions Code 5604.2.
Donations are welcome. CALBHB/C is a nonprofit organization.
