In FY 2022/23
  • ​ACT & MAPS: ACT served 80 consumers and MAPS served 85 consumers. A total of thirteen consumers were homeless upon entry into the program and obtained safe and stable housing. All (100%) ACT/MAPS consumers maintained safe and stable housing while in the program.

  • Homelessness for all participants decreased nearly to 0% since the programs facilitate or provide housing. In FY2020-21, the Full Service Partnership programs provided housing for a total of 167 individuals:
    • 17 individuals - JT MHC
    • 48 individuals - START
    • 34 individuals - CSTAR
    • 30 individuals - FACT/CFACT
    • 38 individuals - CORE

Promotores de Salud/Community Health Worker, Prevention and Early Intervention Outreach for Recognition of Early Signs of Mental Illness. San Bernardino County DBH, Measures, Outcomes and Quality Assessment (MOQA) survey. The purpose is to measure stigma-related outcomes. The participants are asked if they have a change in how they feel after participating in an event or activity. Survey results:
  • 61% More willing to live next door to someone with a serious mental health condition
  • 64% More willing to socialize with someone who had a serious mental health condition
  • 64% More willing to start working closely on a job with someone who had a mental health condition
  • 80% More likely to take action to prevent discrimination against people with mental health conditions
  • 84% More likely to actively and compassionately listen to someone in distress
  • 86% More likely  to seek support from a mental health provessional if they thought they needed it
  • 87% More likely to talk to a friend or a family member if they were experiencing emotional distress

cALBHB/C supports the work of california's 59 local  behavioral health boards and commissions by providing resources, training, and opportunities for communication and statewide advocacy.

Local boards are responsible for reviewing public behavioral health and needs, services, facilities and special problems, and serve in an advisory capacity to local governing bodies and local behavioral health directors per CA Welfare and Institutions Code 5604.2.
Donations are welcome. CALBHB/C is a nonprofit organization.
