  • The program has shown success in helping FSP clients to stabilize, remain housed, engaged in therapy, and working with their case managers in decreasing functional impairments and homelessness, prolonged suffering, and unemployment.

Program-Specific: Adult Peer Employment Program
  • ​7 clients with Serious Mental Illness Enrolled in Program Year 17- 18. Outcomes included:
    • 3 clients transitioned to community-based employment
    • 2 enrollees left the program before transitioning.

  • There has been a decrease in negative outcomes associated with a serious mental illness for full-service partners, specifically hospitalization, incarceration, and homelessness. ​​

  • ​There were very few readmissions within 30 days and this trend was suppressed for HIPAA reasons.

  • There has been a decrease in negative outcomes associated with a serious mental illness for full-service partners, specifically hospitalization, incarceration, and homelessness.

​During program year FY17-18, PCBH invested $121,544 to provide housing services, including emergency lodging, transitional housing, and through PRS’ program, to approximately 68 clients, $51,876 of which was expended on rental assistance. 
  • 13 PCBH FSP clients were referred to Transitional Supportive Housing
  • 4 clients transitioned to permanent housing
  • 4 clients voluntarily left the program and were disenrolled
  • 5 clients remained in services with Environmental Alternatives

The california association of local behavioral* health boards & commissions (cALBHB/C) supports the work of california's 59 local behavioral health boards and commissions by providing resources, training, Technical Assistance. 

Local boards are responsible** for reviewing public behavioral health needs, services, facilities and special problems, and serve in an advisory capacity to local governing bodies and local behavioral health directors.
