Criminal Justice

Rural Mental Health (RMH) 2022-2023 (Pages, 4-5)
  • The total number of individuals incarcerated decreased from 10 individuals pre-enrollment to 3 individuals postenrollment.
  • The total number of days incarcerated post-entry was reduced by 100% compared to the previous year.
  • 96% of persons enrolled in FSP services experienced no episodes of incarcerations. ​

Employment/Volunteerism

Rural Mental Health (RMH) 2022-2023 (Pages, 3-4)
  • 2021 - Out of the 70 individuals served, 9 were employed/engaged in volunteer activities (13%)
  • 2022 - Out of the 77 individuals served, 7 were employed/engaged in volunteer activities (9%)
  • 2023 - Out of the 68 individuals served, 6 were employed/engaged in volunteer activities (9%)

  • The annual percentage of served individuals engaged in employment or volunteer activities was 5%. The decrease in the percentage of persons enrolled during this evaluation period compared to the previous year can be attributed to serving higher acuity levels resulting in lengthier stabilization and recovery periods as well as the impacts of Covid-19 on employment and volunteering opportunities.​

Hospitalization

Turning Point - Stasis Center Provide 2022-2023 (Pages, 3-4, 7-8)
34% of the clients (12 out of 35) were hospitalized. Out of the 12 clients, the majority of hospitalizations occurrances were the same 3 clients.

  •  2% of individuals served were hospitalized. 

Housing/Homelessness

Rural Mental Health (RMH) 2022-2023 (Pages, 6-7)
  • The number of individuals experiencing homelessness was reduced by 25%, and the number of days spent homeless was reduced by 51% post-enrollment.

Wellness

  • 94% of clients agree or strongly agree that this program is a positive influence in their lives
  • ​93.67% of clients agree or strongly agree that this program is an important factor in maintaining their wellness and recovery.

Youth

Functional Family Therapy 2022-2023 (Pages 1, 6, 8)
  • Program effectiveness: The number of youth suspended/expelled from school decreased by 74% and the number of days of suspension decreased by 70%. There was a significant decrease in arrests and recidivism rate post FFT by 82%.

Peer Family Support Wellness Center (Blue Sky Wellness) 2022-2023

  • 80% of members state that services provided by Blue Sky have been a positive influence in their lives.

cALBHB/C supports the work of california's 59 local  behavioral health boards and commissions by providing resources, training, and opportunities for communication and statewide advocacy.

Local boards are responsible for reviewing public behavioral health and needs, services, facilities and special problems, and serve in an advisory capacity to local governing bodies and local behavioral health directors per CA Welfare and Institutions Code 5604.2.
Donations are welcome. CALBHB/C is a nonprofit organization.
