MHSA Annual Update 2020-21, Page 29
Since the FSP Program began in July of 2009, 142 consumers have received a minimum of one year of FSP support in this period. There has been a 76% decrease in psychiatric hospitalization.
  • Between November 2019 through July 2020, 12.7% (n=55) of clients who were eligible for CCBHS services were re-hospitalized, compared to 15.4% (n=65) of eligible patients during the same period in 18/19.
  • Note:  In addition to the clients included in the 'Rehospitalization Rates' table who were hospitalized through a 5150, the Wellness Case Manager also contacted and provided support clients who were safety planned but not hospitalized.  This prevention measure may have helped to contribute to the decrease in the total number of clients hospitalized in 19/20.
